A Genealogical Mystery, Solved?

Almost exactly a year ago, I wrote a blog post (A Genealogical Mystery) that reviewed three photographs that we'd discovered, two of which included completely unidentified people, presumably connected in some way to my family tree. I now believe I've solved this mystery.

I was expecting at some point to be able to identify the subjects of these photos: they must have been quite close to my paternal grandmother for the photos to have been in her possession. As the family tree I was assembling grew sideways, I was eventually able to identify a candidate for Flossie, along with the children Gilbert and Hetty, and form that flowed the identification of Dollie. Their geographical location is consistent with the location of the photographic studio (but the protographers appear to have been pretty active in delivering photos/postcards like these). So, who are they?

The left hand photo shows "Flossie", who I now think is my first cousin three times removed (up). That seems to be a bit of a genealogical term. Anyway, she is Florence Evelyn, and is the sister of "Dollie" in the right hand picture: Dorothy Mabel. Their husbands both survived the war years. I've tracked all the indviduals in the pictures, but I'm kind of hesitant to publish their names - it seems a little irreverant, or perhaps impertinant.

A software note: the software I use is GRAMPS, available for PC, Mac and Linux. It has a massive function list - so much so that it has a pretty steep learning curve. But well worth it.
